What data we process

The data you give us through the enquiry form: name, email, phone, company, city, topic and description of the matter, and your preferred way of contact.

Technical data needed for the website's security: the IP address and browser details of a submitted enquiry, used solely to protect against abuse and spam.

Aggregated visit statistics that do not allow a visitor to be identified (see below).

Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your enquiry and taking steps before entering into a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Protecting the website against abuse and spam, and aggregated statistics — legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Compliance with legal obligations once an attorney–client relationship arises — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Professional privilege

Everything you entrust to us is protected by professional privilege under the Bulgarian Bar Act. Data is not disclosed to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

Retention

  • Enquiries — up to 24 months from receipt, unless an attorney–client relationship arises; the statutory periods for legal practice then apply.
  • IP address and browser details of an enquiry — up to 90 days.
  • Aggregated statistics — up to 25 months, without data that allows identification.

Cookies and statistics

This website uses no cookies, local storage or other tracking technologies. Visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that is recalculated every day and cannot recognise you; the IP address is not stored in the statistics. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no statistics are collected. That is why the site shows no cookie banner.

Recipients

Data is stored with a hosting provider in Bulgaria, acting on our behalf, and in the attorney's email. If an email service with servers outside the European Union is used for correspondence, the transfer takes place under the appropriate safeguards of Chapter V GDPR.

Your rights
